...this watch is a big chunk of steel. I have an Invicta but was looking for an automatic watch for everyday use. I couldn't find an Invicta in the style or price range I wanted. I'm unfamiliar with Croton and couldn't find a review for this watch, but decided to buy it anyway.

The watch arrived from TimeZone123 quickly. 1st impressions: It is quite big compared to the Invicta, but because of its basic style is not overwhelming. The stem at the 4 o'clock position is a well thought out design feature and prevents the stem from digging into the back of your hand. The carbon fiber face looks different in different lighting conditions and at different angles, quite an interesting and changing look. I was very impressed.

After wearing the watch for about a month I noticed a few things that I consider minor irritations. The watch gains about a minute a week and I can't quite get used to the funky clasp. I would have given the watch a 5 star rating except for these two things. For the price it may deserve 5 stars anyway.

Note to big men - despite the size of the watch the band is for average size men. You may need to add a link or two. I think I have an average size wrist and only removed one link to get a snug fit.

Bottom line, $90 for an automatic watch that looks this good is a great deal.
